Our Story
​Tom was raised in a DIY family. His love for fixing and building was established early in his life. He worked bi-vocationally in his twenties to supplement his income from ministry. He started learning how to build cabinets at that time. Over the years he has honed his skills through many custom projects such as kitchen, bath, and office cabinetry; book shelves; custom inset cabinetry; and some furniture.

New Creation Cabinetry exists to take those skills and build custom cabinetry that will last for decades. Tom's desire is to teach the next generation everything he has learned and to instill excellence and integrity in the finished product.

Our Name
Over the years I have seen a lot of cabinetry that is made from inferior materials. Those products are poorly made and don't last long. When they are "new," they look good, but under the pretty veneer is a product that will fail. The same is true for our human lives. We can make the outside look good, but on the inside we are lacking peace, contentment, and purpose.

From the beginning of our human story, God created us to reflect His character in our relationships as well as in the works of our hands. The Fall of man robbed us of that expression as being normal and natural. Through the work of Christ, He has made a way for us to become "new." 2 Corinthians 5:17a says, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation." (BSB) Christ came to make people new, so they could be whole on the inside.
